Hello! Thought I'd pass on my freebie London stuff:
* Get up early on a Sunday and head to Columbia Road flower market and Spitalfields - I've not been since it's all been done out

*National Portrait Gallery is lovely and free

*Nice walk along the river between Hammersmith and Chiswick - and the Dove is a great pub to have a cosy pint in

* Open House weekend (it's in September sometime) but you can get into loads of buildings that normally aren't open to the public. We went into the Foreign Office and got shown round Lloyds of London - amazing

* There's a great book called Walking London - really cool walks all over the city with interesting titbits of history

Cor makes me wish I was back there (kind of...)

You were after suggestions: Wallace Collection is good, either Tate gallery, the South Bank (start at Waterloo and walk east along the river, taking in attractions as you go).

Have fun in London!
